My years at Platt introduced me to what would become my career- a Family and Consumer Science teacher (Home Economics). I took every Home Ec class offered and loved it. I then attended UCONN where I earned my degree and came back to Platt. I taught Family and Consumer Science for 39 years. I am still teaching as an adjunct at both UCONN and University of St. Joseph.
